NHTP Hybrid Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program offers 24 weeks of online lessons with a weekly on-campus requirement for skills training and testing from 9am-12/ 6 p.m.-9 p.m., and a 160-hours clinical externship. Upon passing the NHA national exam for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, graduates of these programs earn a CCMA certification. This is a blended-online program in which all your theory (didactic) courses are online, while your lab, testing, and externship requirements are mostly in-person with minor online components. About 50% of our Medical Assisting program is online, while the other 50% is in-person. Our hybrid program emphasizes administrative and clinical skills, with varied instruction in medical terminology, medical office procedures, clinical procedures, basic anatomy & physiology, and other special duties common in the field.
